Creating the Future of Saihoji Together

Saihoji welcomes visitors every day, offering people a space where they can return to their origins and re-discover themselves, while holding true to the ideals of a Buddhist temple. The Saihokai Association was established in 2019 to support Saihoji. It seeks to function as a bridge between visitors and the temple, communicating the values and charm of Saihoji to the world. We do this in a variety of ways including through the web portal “into Saihoji.” On the web portal we provide information on reserving visits to the temple, disseminate content to help people gain a deeper understanding of the temple, and run the new supporters’ program (called Saihokai Supporters’ Program) that was launched in September 2023. In addition to promoting the beauties of Saihoji, the Saihokai Association will also make efforts to preserve the environment in the surrounding area and promote Japanese culture and traditions.
Saihoji and the Saihokai Association work hand in glove, striving to preserve the temple for future generations and bring peace to people’s hearts, now and for future generations.
