Greetings

In 2031, Saihoji Temple will celebrate 1,300 years since its founding. Without the patronage of any one family, Saihoji Temple has survived over the centuries through the support of many people. With our eyes trained on 2031, we established the Saihokai Association in May 2019 to deepen our relationship with all our supporters and prepare for this major milestone together. The association functions as a bridge between the temple and our friends and supporters, communicating the charm and values of Saihoji to the world.

In 2023, we launched our new membership organization “Saihokai Supporters’ Program”, to welcome a broad range of people united in their love and support of Saihoji Temple. We hope to deepen our bonds and create the future of the temple together with our members. We welcome everyone, so please kindly join us in supporting our endeavors.
