Nichi-nichi Sanpai
Nichi-nichi sanpai is the standard format for visiting Saihoji.
After copying a sutra in the main hall, you are free to walk around the garden.
Quiet the mind by copying a sutra and discover yourself in the Garden of Origins and Journeys. On each visit to Saihoji, we hope that you will experience the flow of time unique to that day.
In order to maintain the tranquility of the temple grounds, we accept only those who make a reservation by the day before you visit.
Important Notice: Winter Season Visit in Saihoji
Due to maintenance of the temple grounds, Nichi-nichi sanpai which is our basic visiting program, will not be available during the winter season (around January 9 - February 29, 2024).
We are planning to offer some special programs in Ori-ori sanpai for visitors to enjoy Saihoji during the winter season.
Details will be announced on our website around mid-November.

How to make a Reservation

-Creation of your account is required for making a reservation.
-Personal data, such as names of each visitor, are required for making a reservation.
-In order to maintain the tranquility of the temple grounds, we limit each group to two people to visit.
-If you want to come with a group of three or more, please apply for separate accounts or postcards with the understanding that you have to be considerate. Due to capacity it is not guaranteed that everyone can reserve the same timeline.
-The temple grounds include steps and graveled grounds. Also, the garden paths are not wheelchair accessible.

- *2Payment method is credit card only. Also, system usage fee of 110 yen (including tax) will be charged per person, aside from the admission fees.
Date and time cannot be changed. If you want to reschedule your visit, please cancel the reservation, and select your preferred date and time again. Cancellation fees will be charged. The system usage fee is not refundable regardless of the date of cancellation.
