Zazen Meditation in Winter

Zazen Meditation in Winter

In the clear air of winter, practice zazen, quiet your mind and reflect on yourself.
Surrender yourself to the dignified and relaxing atmosphere that can only be felt in the cold season.

This winter, a new path in the garden is to be built.
Also, a project is underway to restore the canal that is thought to have existed when the garden was first created (14th century).
Visitors will have a rare opportunity to observe the restoration work revitalizing how the garden looked like at that time.

Please enjoy a special moment of winter silence and feel a connection to those who used to be here before us.

After an explanation about the history of the temple and the restoration project, please participate in zazen meditation in the main hall. After zazen, please enjoy the winter garden while observing the restoration work*.
*Please note that some areas of the garden may not be accessible, and there may be some noise due to the restoration work.
